France/Monaco/Switzerland 2004

July 9 – 26, 2004

Having just watched the Tour de France again this year (and dusted off my old racing bike!), Hoang and I have been wistfully reminiscing about our two week adventure around France. We followed the Tour a bit here and there and of course did as much – and ate as much – as possible. It was a perfect trip – planned to perfection by yours truly. Only one wrong turn during the whole trip (we rented a car) and only one hotel snafu (it worked out) and we were able to see the Tour on insane mountain stages too. Sigh… Let’s hope we can do it again someday. Or what the heck, let’s just move to Provence.

I won’t write too much about the trip; just throw up the better pictures mainly just so I can reference back to them when I’m feeling French. Or hungry.

Day 5 – Sête (Bastille Day)
